Yeah it's a mame machine. Got it for just under a thousand. Got some crazy games on it. Gem fighters, x men vs street fighter and all these other stuff.

Looking to get a bigger one soon for one eight!

Sup guys! more noobie questions from the newbie.
Mtech foglight LED options, Anyone have a link to what they use for White error free options?
Rear License plate LED error free, Same deal as above.
ECU remap, Worth it? Anyone know places in Melbourne that are reputable at this?

Someone had some for sale?

Anyways guys, where can I get the updated key with the circuit board on it so I can retro fit? I've ordered a flip key as well, just need the circuit board actually.

What audio is everyone running in their car? Just wondering... I wouldn't mind to run a Focal K2 setup but I'm skeptical on whether 6.5" will fit, sound proofing, etc. I want to keep the OEM look but iPod connectivity is slowly becoming higher on the priority list.

6.5" Will fit dependent on the mounting depth of the driver and also how much work you would like to undertake. Off the top of my head I can't remember the measurements
There are quality drop in replacements available, CDT Audio have series specific for bimmers. Vibe, Boston, Crescendo also offer shallow mount woofers.

In terms of speakers I went with 6" MTX Comp splits all around, they fit perfectly. I know you can fit 6.5" in, you might need to install a 5mm circle plate to mount the speaker to so it gives it that little bit more leverage. Or you can shave the mounting holes but that is a little dodgy.

If you can find a good set of 6" splits I'd say jump on that. Perfect fit and no headaches... Also sound proof the doors when you go to install the speakers, it's easier that way.

Honestly your not going to tell the difference sound wise between high end 6" and 6.5"... Mine are amped and they crank.

I'm looking at the 165KRXS, they're 6.5" albeit 5.55mm mounting depth as opposed to 77mm in the 165KRX2, which remains the ideal purchase from a SQ perspective. I would like to stick to Focal because I have yet to experience a better sounding speaker than what they produce, but any suggestions will be welcome.

Did you keep the OEM unit Steve?
