Yeah I know what the bulbs were lol.

Coolant light went off after a but but just double checked and it just needed half a water bottle.

Car went really well considering. Didn't want to use 2nd gear due to the diff problems so couldn't push it 100%, probably not such a bad thing though I still had an absolute blast!

Interestingly the 'moments' in all the YouTube videos were all intentional on in laps. I wanted to push the limit of grip and see how easy it is to predict and then recover once grip was lost. Turns out it's incredibly easy to spot and recover from.

I only had 1 real moment where my heart had a brief pause. The first corner can be taken at about 130kmh in my car after hitting 180+ on the straight. I hadn't been getting perfect runs out of the last corner as I was wary of the wall, I had also struggled with my braking point and entry into the first corner, I felt I was braking too early. Anyway, I addressed both issues at once (better run out of the last corner then later braking). Needless to say I missed the apex by a couple of metres. Still was no where near close to running off or spinning though

Did you see my post in the thread relating to the diff bush?

Yeah, you are lucky you have a track that can get up to those speeds, ours there is really only a couple of spots where you can get up to 170/180 depends on the power. I have 2 track days next week, the weather has been **** here for the last few so I am hoping it improves for next week

How did the rest of the car go with the street tyres, brakes etc - they held up ok? How were your seats? I am getting annoyed with sliding around in the stock seats with the factory belts because they don't hold you in.

This I can do.
If I make it out to the SAM I'll bring my laptop for anyone that wants any coding done.

Think I need a bigger toolbox, spending more time rearranging the tools than I do using them. Or I can just stop buying more stuff.....

Anyone got any bargain hookups?

Tyres were alright considering they are cheapies that were on the car when I got it. They got hot after a few laps of pushing them and started to lose grip, wasn't really an issue though.

Brakes were fine. I bled the brakes and put in RBF600 but didn't bleed 100%. I followed the instructions 100% but the pedal was a tiny bit squishy. Will need to get that fixed. I also lost a couple of chunks from my front right brake pad which was the one under the most stress. I suspect they are old pads so I've ordered stoptech street performance pads.

Also seem to have developed a humming noise under brakes which sounds like it could be due to the farked pad or there being pad deposits. Hoping the new pads and a bit of 600 grit sand paper can fix the issue.

When I do the front diff bush I'm also doing the rear cover, seals, oils and rear bolts. Is there anything else you recommend I do whilst the diff is out?

The aftermarket LED tail lights come with an adapter harness with capacitors and resistors in them to stop bulb out warning and the check voltage spikes, so i wanted some to make a harness out of but I'm pretty handy with a solder iron

Do you guys think $400 for a full led tail light set with harness and internal boot lights is a fair deal?

That would be amazing Jall! even If I don't get the tails, I really would love my unlocking to trigger the lights to flash twice!!
