Btw anyone know how much roughly i should pay for super lows, im going to call up soon and need a rough idea.
$380 (ish) a set for King. Depends on who you get them through. Bump stops do need to be shortened if going SL!

Shorter shocks for SL springs. Got lowered Kings in My Mazda but they put in std length Koni's. What a disaster. Four Koni's that need to be fully rebuilt.

What is the point your making?? + Koni's are easily rebuilt by a lot of suspension places and a 25mm drop doesn't warrant koni's to be rebuilt.
Side note I did mean the bump stops (factory ones are tall mfs )

Dropped by more than 25mm. Running on the bump stops a lot and smashed the foot valves in the Koni's according to the Koni distributor in Sydney when I asked them to check it out. Also if you go stiffer as I did the Koni's should have been re-valved to match. This also wasn't done. You have to be careful selecting a place to do your suspension.

Hey Sprintman.. I thought with Koni's the "stiffness" is controlled by the valve?? (So if the valve wasn't replaced the stiffness would not have changed )

Not explaining myself well am I? Shorten a spring a large amount you must run shorter shocks to match otherwise the shock is nearly fully compressed from the start (no shock travel). Hitting the bump stops constanly ends up damaging the shock internal parts and that's from the Kono distributor who inspected the car in Sydney. In fact the tech who took it for a drive diagnosed the problems just by driving it without looking underneath it they are hat good. Told me it hapens regularly from shops not on top of their game. Will be very expensive to repair, low priority compared to the 325 cooling system.

Shame its not a 3 digit numeric as I would be all over it for a reasonable price.

With all the latest publicity I get the feeling people who buy plates thinking they are going to instantly make a buck.

My Ride: What work gives me!
fellow australian members! Hello well I was talking to one of my customers at work today. To the point, anyway she said I have an impeccable taste in cars.. anway i reply "thank you why do you say?"
she showed me her keyring where I noticed the BMW FOB. Well anyway upon carrying out her carton of corona she popped the boot on this gold 330. I went to pick up the boot and noticed all the lettering for everything was gold.. not only this the door plates were also gold and there was something on the wood trim lettered in gold to.. Now you all being the bimmerphiles you are was there a special gold edition released? Because this was one very nice prefacelifted 330
