05 xr6t factory at best will run a 14.5.
they do respond well to mods and will run a mid 12 with minor mods (exhaust, boost, injectors, cooler) but thats not "out of the box" is it?!?!?

i know for a fact that a factory '05 6 speed auto xr6t WILL do a 13.5 down the qtr

same cars now got intake, exhaust, cooler, injectors, fuel pump and a tune and ran a 12.0 in full street trim
his got slicks for it now just waiting for decent weather..

Again, that's not out of the box

And if you've run your car down the 1/4 you'll realise how far the difference is between a 13.5 and an 11.9

Strange. My car's run a low 11 at WSID at 130+ mph

Lucky that 100 shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake...

I think there is only one locally made car that runs < 13 secs down the 1/4 mile 'out of the box'. That would be the 150k W427 HSV correct? All the turbo'd Falcons, HSVs etc can't crack 12s out of the box from what I know.
