oh schweeet. repco sell king springs for 250? still kinda in the air about this....i do drive my car fairly hard...thinking the stock shocks won't survive the drop...what kinda shocks would be suitable for the drop? or am i better off (forgetting about adjustable nature) with coilovers, cost wise.

getting my car back from BMW Melb on monday...tried to charge me $3k for repairs to my drivetrain. BMW Aus is giving me a new centre bearing as a goodwill gesture, so i told them to put that in, and give the car back to me, and i'll do the rest myself...got a sizeable shopping cart on pelican parts atm. on the upside, while i'm doing my guibo and gearbox seals, i can replace my shift bushings, and install a short shifter (understeer.com have decent ones for the money, they use OEM BMW ones from diff models that give shorter throws)
gonna try do the dreaded rear diff bushing too, gonna get this drivetrain back to being buttery smooth

I'm not here for long ... Just until Friday ... Noosa is pretty dead though ATM ... Last night just consisted of us sitting on the beach drinking ... Then security told us to move on... Apparently the drinking in public rules are pretty strict in QLD
weather has been pretty nice, although it's going to rain soon, Btw Pulo: is it all good to use a phone on flight mode??? coz I wanna try out that BMW M Meter app while taking off |

ahaha, yeh it should be...but the M Meter app only works if it remains in a constant position. with the aeroplane taking off, the iphones position will change (as the plane tilts backward). so it'll work for the runway bit while the plane is moving in the same direction, but once you reach V-R and the plane rotates upwards, you're readings will be off, as it'll read the altered relative direction of gravity, as an increase in acceleration.

No they call it flight mode because you shouldn't use it while flying.
