Well fingers crossed mate., i hope it works, but mine had only done 83k and i was told its quite common between 60k and 90k. found out the exspensive way, that is I was told by the stealer that the Alt was fine and that it was only the battery so I bought a battery first another $400. But interesting enough, mine went after i had not driven it for about 6 weeks also then drove it a short distance and then the next morning when i when to drive off the red battery light came on.

oh and I forgot to add. If you overnight charge your battery with a trickle charger and your Alt is stuffed you have a range of 37klms before your run out of spark. Just so you dont get stuck like I did when waiting for the part to arrive...

Are they (piezon injectors) worth the investment? What sort of gain would you expect?

If you want to buy the new car to put around them. Direct fuel injection, not a DIY upgrade, unless maybe you have an old diesel.

I spent a couple of hours last night installing the new springs in my sedan to find that the 245/30/19 Kuhmo's on the 19x9.5 CSL rims scrub like an absolute bastard. I had to put the king springs back in the back it was that bad

The rim sits level with the guard. Is there anything I can do with the inner guard? or should I just look at smaller tyre?

^^ roll the guards
and smaller tyres

although alot of ppl think that 245 on 9.5's is already too small
but if the rim is sitting level with the guard, the actual rim will rub, even if u get smaller tyres

the tyres clear the guards but it hits the inner guard about 2-3 inches above the outer guard lip.

Really annoying as I'm concerned that I won't be able to go smaller on the 9.5" rim and I'm not a fan of the stretched tyre look.

im using kw's on the lowest setting with continental 245/35/19's on the rear (same offset and width rim as you listed) and i had to lip the rear guards slightly

heres pics:

I found this in another thread, with the new springs I have it sits like that but scrubs. How did they run the exact same setup and rims without the hassles??

I just had another look and my car actually has 255/30/19 Kuhmo's under it. The rims are 19x9.5 and I'll check the offset tonight. The rim and tyre package was on the car when i got it. Doing some reading tells me that these will scrub

Hey dvscoupe, when you pulled out your king springs, did you find out what type they were and if they had been cut or not?

Also, did you get any final pics of your car with the kings still in once they had settled and before you put the new springs in? Would be interesting to see the before and after pics.

Damn, I'm looking to get a set of king lows and was going to offer to get your old ones, but since they're cut, no thanks.

It's taken a lot of massaging but it is nearly done.
