Craigslist Sperm Donor Ordered to Pay Child Support

Donor William Marotta responded to Angela Bauer and Jennifer Schreiner’s Craigslist ad for a sperm donor in 2009. The couple, who had reportedly adopted children, stated in the ad they now wanted to be biological parents. In return, Marotta would relinquish all financial and parental rights to their child.

As part of their agreement, Bauer, Schreiner and Marotta signed a document stating Marotta had no legal obligations.

According to the Daily Mail, in October 2012, Bauer’s attorney filed petition on her behalf asking for support for the child. Bauer was reportedly out of work due to an illness and applied for welfare. The court then asked Bauer to reveal the child’s father, after which he was ordered to pay child support.

Bauer and Schreiner are reportedly helping Marotta fight the court’s decision. The pair split in 2010.

So going to a sperm bank and getting anonymous sperm is what normal people do. That is so that the donor has no idea who gets his juice and the ones that get pregnant can't come after the donor (no pun intended). But this dumbass responded to a CRAIGSLIST ad and prolly had straight up relations with one of the vageterians and impregnated her. I say that because I doubt they could pull off production of a 'donation' and then the place that donation using a household turkey baster. You can get paid for masturbating? Meh, I've flushed millions down the toilet.

I wonder if it was a traditional sperm injection or if they went through doctors? my gut feeling is traditional.

Has she fired her attorney yet? The attorney may only be doing what she thinks is best for her client and the kid, but it would seem firing the attorney that didn't abide by her wishes would be the first step.

Otherwise, take the child support and write the donor a check right back. That way he's not in violation of the court order, but he's not out the money, either.
