How fast have you gone on ur car?

i thought our cars came with limiters on speed at 130 or something. how are people hitting 140+?? if we do have limiters, is there an easy way to get rid of it

edit: nevermind. i see people mentioning it in the thread. guess its around 135.

well i didnt drive but in my bros m3 we hit 180 going from ok to houstin the only mod was an ecu and the exaust system

new ecu can remove the limiter on most cars

120mph in MY 323ci and about 196mph on my 1000rr

130mph in my stock 325ci coupe.

i would say just a little over 110...that was when i wasn't paying attention to how fast i was driving...lolz

I raced a jag x-type, got my 330ci up to 145. It kept wanting to go but had to get off freeway. Is there not a limiter? I thought it was limited lower than what I went? All I can say it it was very smooth for going 145 and I blew by the cocky x-type guy.

178MPH on a Track in a Ferrari F430, its not my car though unfortunatly its my fathers, but some day in the far far future he might give it to me... best experience of my life, id recommend you do it, alot of tracks nowadays allow you to rent on of their cars and drive it on the track,having an open track and a car with alot of "pony's" under the bonnet makes for a good day out!!!GUARANTEED!!!!!!!!!!

160 in my brother boosted 330. 144 in my 330. 178 on the bike. I Have a problem with going fast

Unless your bike is turbocharged or has some serious engine work, that is impossible. I'm guessing you mean 196 mph "indicated" on your bike. MotoGP bikes barely clear 200 mph. Your saying your bike's power is on par with a MotoGP bike?
For me: 154 in car, 178 on bike. Car used to be supercharged; didn't top it out, either. Did top out bike while racing a modified 911 Turbo.

thats definetly possiible. For a 1000 thats really fast but depending what year it is and maybe a change of sprockets or something and some other stuff you can get it up their. Hayabusa hits that all day

Hearing this reminds me of the cop who charged a guy on a Blackbird with a speeding ticket for, get this: 234 mph. The guy who got the ticket was like . Cop said he got him on radar from a plane. Supposedly I heard that the defendant was some type of engineer and went into court and defended himself using good old physics.
