fastest on a race track:
120mph on my completely stock 325Ci. that was at lime rock park race track. i did about 125mph at poconos speedway on the banked straightaway (before having to brake down to like 60mph, haha-- can you say, disposable brake pads??)

fastest on the street:
also when my car was about 100 miles old, i was doing' 110-115mph on the autobahn for like 30 minutes straight. with 4 people in the car. and a full trunk of luggage. in the rain. that was awesome and worth the entire trip to germany to pick up my car.

okay, fastest on the street in the USA:
90mph - on my damn 16" winter rims/tires, as i was driving out to the slopes, with my damn snowboard mounted on the top of the car on thule rack. it was LOUD up there and i could feel the wind resistance.

100MPH on the highway. I have gone

faster in prior cars, but after hitting a rolled up news paper at 120 and an oil spill at 75-80 and wrecked both cars. I know that the street is a bad place to push your vehicle. Frankly I will not do these speeds again accept on a track. Lucky to be alive !

I hit an indicated 160 MPH in my father's old 600 SEL Mercedes (I'm sure there was some spedometer error, so I figure it was an actual 155 or something.) The car handled incredibly. . .if it weren't for the other cars on the road, I'd have thought I was driving 70 MPH.

Disclaimer: I was doing this on a nearly empty toll road in Houston (Sam Houston Tollway), and I don't advocate breaking the speed limits at any time .

The 3.15 diff didn't bring down your top speed?

That's just stupid to be going that fast in those trucks they aren't even ment for 80 non the less 100+ mph cruising.

I hit 132 on the autostrada going up to Germany. I'm sure I will get a ticket in the mail in 6 months.
