My .02 cents on this is that on pictures I agree the wheels look to big but I was in LA last week and I saw a bunch on 22" looks really good in real life!! But you do have to lower it!!! otherwise it looks like AWD subaru!! I know if you go with 21" or 22" performance will be lost but who care its not like its the type a car you track!!! 19" are stock on that car so 20" is a waste if put on that car cause it looks to small!!!

Wow thats some history.
Do you know what he used for lowering? And does it have any rubbing issues? That would be very important to know since there arent to many on 22's that are lowered, or that i have seen any way. Thanks Quote:

damn i LOVE big rims and i LOVE the 6 but that combo up there is not a go-
needs a drop and/or some kind of kit....thats not sitting right at all.... a 6 with 22s will be sick but you need to do more than just throw the rims on....with the right drop and kit everyone will be |

Go here http://www.racinghart.com/gallery.asp
to see 645s in 20, 21, and 22" configurations. You can pull 22's off but you are going to have to do more than just the wheels, and at that point it's going to take lots of taste and money to keep it classy.

I think you posted bad pics for a reference. Most people (non-enthusiasts)would put 22's on a vehicle or any big rims for that matter, a loud system, etc...and leave it like that. It's the trend. But I hope your a BMW or at least a CAR enthusiast who understands that in order to get that look
With the right rims, and proper suspension you could pull off a nice set of 20's...21's...and even 22's. I think when you tell most people your putting a certain size on a vehicle that they may not agree without a proper pic for reference or type of wheel, your pretty much spittin' in the wind. But at the end of the day - it's your decision. |

I have posted 100's of pics of different rims. http://forum.e46fanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=74 for what its worth 21's are the way to go. I have 22's,20's and 19's for my 6. |
