There are several new MagnaFlow systems (full catbacks) soon to be released for the E46 chassis'.

Well, most exhaust system upgrades, usually consisting of a muffler and pipes replacing the middle resonator, yield very minimal power gains as most people buy for sound. If you insist on purchasing the cat-back, go for it. It may be cheaper than the UUC TSE3 and the Borla cat-back and will most likely sound much better than the universal Magnaflow applications. Good luck!

Get the 2nd reso and cat converter removed for more sound. Little gain... but it sounds better.

I got the magnaflow 14815 for my '00 323i.
