ZainoFest Returns! (Baltimore & NJ Areas) - Pics too!

This weekend I was able to get back to business and detail a very nice Honda S2000. The car came out fantastic and I wanted to let everyone know that I'm still available to perform this service for anyone interested. Its $150 for the full Zaino process plus any gas/toll charges I incur from me travelling to you. Or, when I'm located in NJ, you can come to me. I am available to travel to you when I am in Baltimore, and I am also available to travel to you or have you come to me when I'm in NJ. Just ask where I am and we can figure out a time that works for both of us.

Anyway, the process takes about 4 hours of my time and includes the following:

  • Wash car with Dawn
  • Clean Wheels with Eagle1 A2Z
  • Clay Bar (w/ Zaino Car Wash as lubricant)
  • Wash Car with Zaino Car Wash
  • Wax with Z-5 Polish
  • Spray with Z-6 Concentrated Wax
  • Wax with Z-2 Polish
  • Spray with Z-8 Grande Finale
  • Dress Tires with Stoner More Shine Less Time
  • Wash Windows with Stoner Invisible Glass
  • Spray with Z-8 Grande Finale again
  • **only microfiber towels used at ALL points**
  • **wheel polishing available at additional cost**
Here are the pictures of the most recent job I did. Came out great!

Nice side shot...

Perrrrty clouds...

Smoooooth...

Yeah, this is a reflection. Its shot INTO the paint...

$150.00 is a very fair price considering the price of Zaino, I think it would cost someone close to $100 just to buy the necessary products.

I started using Zaino last year, I am so impressed with their products, it lasted a whole year +. Last weekend I washed with dawn, and the water was still beading up like crazy. Followed with clay bar, Zaino car wash, 2 coats Z5 (w/ zfx), then 2 coats Z2 (w/ zfx), the paint looks amazing. I also tried their tire dressing on my black trim pieces that were starting to fade, they look brand new again. I know 4 coats sounds like alot of work, but it goes on easy, and comes off even easier. I used a brand new leather chamois between coats, and it did help deepen the shine quite a bit. No I am not a dealer, just a really happy customer!

Yeah the stuff is pretty damn expensive. To get everything in the line, it absolutely costs around $100 and then you need to factor in all the towels that you need to do the job right. Anyway, jsantoli, I'll give you a heads up when I'll be in Jersey next.

do you do any machine polishing after claying? I can't imagine these vehicles look good in direct sunlight.

No machine polishing and I think that pretty much anyone whose car I've detailed can attest that these cars look fantastic in direct sunlight.

Thanks! Actually, if it's not too much trouble could you list the brushes you use as well? I'm thinking about purchasing the whole Meguiar's Gold Class line.

No brushes. Just a wheel brush that I got from PepBoys. Only use Chenelle Wash Mitts or 100% Wool Mitts. Brushes will swirl your paint real quick.

Sweet, less stuff to buy! I always thought the brush bristles looked a little too harsh for the paint.

One last question (sorry about the excessive questions); ultra-fine or ultra plush towels? I'm at pakshak.com right now.
