anybody use the quik detailer in the claybar system just to clean?

that stuff works pretty well, i have my meguiars claybar system which came with a quik detailer. smells like cinnamon and cleans up the car VERY nicely. i usually airdry my car after a wash and simply wipe up the water spots with quik detailer. saves me lots of time from drying

Yea quick detailers and clay bar is a nice combo. I have heard (strictly rumor) that the Megs quick detailers is a little streaky. I use the Poorboys Spray and Gloss and I really like that because it cleans and shines the paint really well. Let me know what you think about the Megs one!

i have noticed it streak a few times, but only because the towel i used was starting to get soaked, i always make sure to use dry towels and it never streaks.

water spots, streaks, fingerprints, light bug stains, etc. works like a charm! try it out. seems to work on glass too!

i use it for both cleaning and with the claybar. they already developed the quik detailer before the claybar system. they simply include it in the kit as a lubricant, that's all.

I've only used it once.. when a bird pooped on my car after waxing it, right before a meet. It worked well. I wouldn't make a habit out of it, though.
