I have a set of 44's that aren't in the best condition. They have been repainted. Two of the wheels are straight and two are slightly out of round. The 2 wheels that are out of round aren't bad, it's only noticeable at highway speeds and the set is driveable. I also have a 5th wheel that's really out of round and isn't driveable without being straightened by a wheel place. I'll sell all 5 for $100 picked up (I'm in Danbury, CT), I need to free up some space in my garage. I'll even throw in two 225/45/17 tires that have about 10K miles left on them for free. They are Michellin MXMHXM (something like that). They aren't the best tires that's for sure so don't get too excited about that, but they don't have any patches and are worn evenly.

As far as I know they are repairable. You can't tell they are out of round just by looking at them, there are no visible bends. The ride at 80 on the highway isn't that bad, I notice a slight vibration in the steering wheel, maybe you wouldn't notice at all but I'm a perfectionist. I bought these wheels from someone on bimmerforums.com, for $650 with tires. I could sell them and not mention the problem, but that's not me. Look into a few wheel repair places and get and idea how much it would be to repair them. You could get away with just using the set as is, or you could fine tune the 2 wheels and you'd be set. If you're not far from Danbury you're welcome to come and check them out when you have some spare time, I don't have a digital camera so I can't post pics until I take some regular pics and get them put on photo CD.

I left a message on your cell, unless I called the wrong number? What is the area code for your cell? My PM inbox is cleared so send me a PM and let's do this!
