10" jl W7 brand new with custom box

I was building a box for my car and it turned out the box is about half an inch to tall for my car but it will fit in a stock truck. It wil just be easier for me to start a whole new box then to rip this apart and notch out the back. The box holds a BRAND new W7 i just bought this past wednesday(5/25). I have the receipt. The box is about 1.7 cu. ft. which is a little bigger then JL specs for the speaker, the box is ported with the JL spec port length. I built the box myself with the port located for an open ski pass. From the back of the car there is not much sound but when you sit inside the car it sounds great. Nice and tight the way we like them. Sounds better then my two MA Audio sub i was running before this. I am looking for $575 for the speaker and box. A great setup for a car all you need is an amp. The box isnt finshed yet so its not covered with anything. I can cover it with whatever you want (paint, carpet, vinyl...). Ill post pictures of the unfinished box tomorow. Local buyer perferable you can listen toit before you buy it.

Well phatmustang had first bids on the box and speaker but if he doesnt want it then i would be willing to part out the box. I think the best way to ship this thing would be on the bottom of a grey hound bus if you would be willing to do something like that. Its probly like half the price of a ticket. For the closer guys that are interested i would be willing to drive half way to mass or philly. either way someone needs to buy it so i can finish it the way they want.

I am extremely interested...I have 2 Kicker 10" L7s now but they are in a standard box...how exactly is this box custom? Does it go the whole width of the trunk or no? If you cover it in Grey carpet I may call dibs and pick it up...Im in North NJ...Show me pics of the finished set up and you have a deal...btw I am in Italy until June 26th but do not count me out...I am one of the most reliable buyers/sellers on this forum...just ask davidjay ^^ haha...LET ME KNOW

Well the box is about 20 inches wide. It was meant to fit in between my preexisting trunk set up but is a bit to tall to fit flush up against the back set. Like I said the port is threw the arm rest so theres where most of the sound comes out of. It should fit perfectly against the back set because I took the angle of the seat when i was making the box. I think I will just cover it with regular grey speaker box fabric because straz is the only person who has yet to say what they would want it covered with. This sub will be alot tighter then those kickers but you will not get the "I can hear you from two blocks away" bass like Kicker pump out depending on the amp. I think the sub sounds great and after I sell this I will be making another one just like for myself. Straz are you interested in the whole thing sub and box, by the way i am in wayne nj which is a stones throw away.

New pics are up. Im getting carpet tomorow to cover it then its ready to sell speaker or not. The curved part is two layers of fiber glass and 3 layers of bondo. I think i came out really good hopefully it will still sound the same. Its still up for grabs.
