Concerned NE fanatic, hows it going to be at bimmerfest 05 in CT?

hey whats up. I want to see you guys from NJ NY CT etc, becuase u guys are dedictated to your meets. And im hoping alot of the New Englanders show up. Our meets here are very week and Im hoping there isnt going to be car show, because some of us like myself dont have a very soupt up car to pay 50.00 to enter. I would like all the fanatics to have a good hang out, so we could meet each other, have a BBQ and see whos who with everyones support. I dont want to go to the car show and park my car far away, i want it to be with all the fanatics members. I know me and "Deepeyes" are down for any meets but its not good out here, were usually go to ricey meets as the only guys from e46fanatics. And im tired of ppl talking about euro lights an fiberglass kits (no offense on *** and Domestic). One day im plannin on going to as far as NJ "3 hour ride" for a huge E46 meet, becuase it sux out here. So i was thinking if we can figure out a way we can do this well organized. Becuase i know i wont get much support on the NE Region forums, so im trying to figure out to see what we can do and lets have some proud BMW spirit and see what you guys can do to help us out.

yes bimmerfest will be a show, thats why we have meets, all show - no dough, meets are always goin on

1) Plan meets around just meeting, not shows. Not everyone wants to goto a show (costs, amount of traffic, etc...), but most people goto ordinary meets.
2) Interforum meets are successful. I used to own a Hyundai, and we had meets with the guys on ClubRSX all the time, had quite a few people there. With a region as unpopulated as the Northeast (I don't think I've ever met another tuner on any forum from my county), you'd probably need to do this.

yea i love meets, but in new england these guys are just not interested in meets. look in out NE forum section, you'll see how weak they are. so thats why i posted this thread on nj,ny,ct forum to see if you guys can set something up in CT or something

i'm not planning on going, $50 is crazy, you are getting ripped off. you know the company running this is making profits. let's plan a meet in the same area at the same day/time that will be open to anyone and free.

yup....my plans changed also........i thought this shiet was for free.....I'm not blowing all that $$$ just to check cars out...........sux cause i wanted to go to it also

let see wat we can do, with the support of everyone. but we need ppl to help us out.And i read alot of post saying how everyone has plans for the vehicle for Bimmerfest. we might as well have out own "E46fanatics bimmerfest meet" near by...

ct323i and He and his, what part of CT are you from? you guys, iverson, and i could have a meet more towards eastern CT if it'd be closer/easier, and see if we could get other people to go.

if there is going to be a meet I think it should still stay in the vicinity of bimmerfest so those that want to attend can still do so, maybe even in the same park as bimmerfest it is a public park correct? and I'am sure they are not closing the whole park for bavarianfest

im from rhode island. And i dont mind taking the trip to anywhere CT i just wish i knew more about CT so could set somethign up. but the fact of the matter is that i dont know nothing about ct besides getting to NY

i'm between bridgeport and danbury, pretty far from the eastern area but a meet in rhode island might be fun, like at the beach

I will be going to bavarianfest so hopefully like I posted earlier we can set up an alternate meet in the same park so everyone that wants can attend the meet and bavarianfest still
