Question Need alignment shop recommendation -Elkton,MD / Newark, DE area

Can anyone recommend a good alignment shop in the Newark/Elkton area that has good experience with doing alignments on track cars? The car is a 330i with coil overs, camber plates and adjustable rear control arms. I'm looking for a shop that will take the time to set up the car to my specs, and not just go "by the book"

TIA!

45 views and no recommendations? Oh well, at least it's encouraging to see the board is active with (presumably) local members.

Since an alignment is not an everyday job, drive it an hour & a half east to York Automotive in Mt Airy Md. The owner has won over 10 Racing Championships in BMW's, he can setup a BMW race car better than just about anyone. He was the original builder of the Race Car pictured in my signature, I've done A LOT of winning with that Bimmer over the years.

I suggest you take it to a BMW specific shop like here which is 45 minutes south of you http://autowerkesinc.com/contact.html
The guys there do excellent and very precise work there and have been servicing my BMW's for years. And yes they do track cars, i've seen E30 M3, and E36 M3, and E46 M3 track cars there all the time. They set up my suspension for my car which is on coilovers and my suspension drop and camber settings are dead on.
I urge you to call and suggest you talk to Marcello or his brother to discuss your needs.

Thanks KCLARK... appreciate all the input.

The car is almost back together again. I got the suspension work done before Christmas but still haven't gotten around to aligning it yet. I opted to delay the alignment, knowing I'd just need to get it redone after some additional work I wanted to do.

I decided to tear the front end all apart a couple weeks ago, to replace con rod bearings, install a GSR 4-bolt oil pump, baffled oil pan, oil cooler, BW's version of the Group N motor mounts and a bunch of other random stuff. It's pretty much all back together...just a few more minor things I want to do before the wheels go back on.

I'm in no rush to drive this car in the miserable weather we're having, so I'll probably wait till it warms up before I take it to for an alignment. I really like idea of taking it to a shop where they know the difference between OEM alignment specs and a track alignment. I understand European Performance is Elsmere, DE specializes in BMWs and they have a background in racing. They're close to me, but I don't know anyone who's gone to them for setting up their track car. I may have to head west and make a little road trip out of it.
