I experienced slight rubbing in the rear when going over bumps. Going to add spacers and mess with camber more now..

Btw, Are your f/r fenders rolled? Do you use UUC rear control arms?

all of the above. im happy with the fitment, i am getting ready for a set of VSXX 20x10 & 20x11 by xmas time. i want to play around with these to get my fitment down. now my settings are perfect.

what i love about the VM3 is the 9.5 front so much concave up front its so money.

Thats awesome! can't wait to see your VSXX setup. I am on the same boat with you.. bought these VMRs to test out the desire offset/fitment/stance before forking out $ to buy custom WORK wheels. Looking at Gnosis or Meisters.

If purchasing 18s, be sure you are getting the Velocity wheels (also known as VMR) as there are specific differences between the VMR wheels and Miro brand that can be spotted when the two are placed together.

Here's a quick comparison of the Velocity Motoring (VMR) and the Miro:



Things to note:

1. VMR wheels have a longer spoke length than the Miros, which fork later to the outer ring. A longer spoke length gives a slimmer look.
2. Outer ring thickness is noticeably wider on the VMRs compared to Miro.
3. The VMRs are not as deep lipped as the Miros, giving a truer look to the CSL design.
4. Spoke Angle (or "concavity" as others are calling it) is much more pronounced on the VMRs than the Miros, especially on M3 fitments. there is an ongoing discussion about this very subject on M3Forum and e90post.
5. VMR wheels are offered in 4 finishes (Silver, HyperBlack, Gunmetal and Matte Black). Miros are only offered in Silver.
6. VMR wheels are manufactured in a true 72.6mm centerbore, not requiring the use of hubcentric rings. Miros feature a larger bore and require a a ring (included) installed before mounting.
7. Miro "Tuning Fork" ends are spaced wider on Miros towards the ring portion than the VMR wheels, which are closer together.
8. Lug holes are spaced farther apart on VMRs from centerline. Miros intercept with trim ring on face of wheel.
9. Reputation: The VMRs have been on the market for quite some time now with a well-established reputation with those running the wheels.



The biggest factors are the spoke angle, thickness and lip depth. As for weights, here's a 19" VMR wheel on the scale:

vmr hyperblack staggered 19's no rubbing at all, but i am only on the stock sport suspension. Car is orient blue.

I am seriously considering these for my Titanium Silver 330 Vert and getting them dipped in black chrome. Do they only come in one offset? Lookin' for a little stretch and poke and not sure what to get.

The HyperBlack is pretty much Black Chrome. They come in several offsets, we just recommend certain offsets for standard fitment. You can run the more aggressive offsets if you would like to run negative camber, roll your fenders, and stretch your tires. Let me know if you have any questions

Dang. I'm so torn between choosing wheels for my 325ci. I thought I wanted LM reps, but I see a lot of people doing them. Then I was thinking CSL reps, but I think I would do staggered 18s. I went thru all 40 pages and haven't seen my car with them with a sport suspension drop. Wasn't sure if I would need a cup kit or coilovers when/if I purchase these.

If anyone has a pic saved of an 04 325ci sport suspension with CSL rims... I'd love to see a picture.
