Do I have to drill a hole in the back of my light fixture...
Do I have to drill a hole in the back of my light fixtures in order to install the modern Chromium DDEs? If not, where are the wires which are connected to the rings run to? For some reason, no DIYs show this most important step. Any help will be much appreciated.
BTW: I have OEM Xenon lights. Ron

They say that you can run the wire through the tubing that houses your existing headlight wires. Personally I found that to be too big a hassle so what I did with my chromiums was drill a small hole right through where you have an existing hole in the inner lights (not your xenons, the other ones - you'll know what i'm talking about if you look at it). Fed the wires through there and then resealed with some high temp rubber sealant in the back. It looks pretty clean in the end.
