guys ok i'm getting new subs need some opinions
i currently have stealthboxes and looking for more bass. I have focal 165k speakers with a zapco amp. I also just bought a phoenix gold 600.2 amp to power the new subs i am getting. I was thinking about jl w3v2 or image dynamic v2 idq subs. I can get the image dynamics for like 190 a sub. What do you guys think i should do? I'm gonna be doing a sealed box in the spare tire well. Thanks.

Use 1 high output 10 in the spare.
An adire audio Brahma 10" would be good JL 10w7 Or a DD 9510 10"

Because of the limited volume of the spare area.

i dunno
u think i should get 1 jl w7? bender or 2 idq v2 10's. Its 600 watts mono at 4 ohms would this be over kill for 2 10 inch subs that have a rms of 300? or is this perfect? Thanks

I've always like the new Kicker L7s.....yeah the square ones. You could get 2 10's and have them be as loud or as quiet as you want. They move 20% more air than a round sub of the same size. I have a friend with a single 15" L7 with only 300 watts RMS going to it...and its the loudest damn thing I have ever heard, but it also very musical when he has it tuned down. So if you want something that sounds good....but can also be overkill when you want to show off...I'd go with that. With that amp you could probably push 2 12" easily and blow your trunk lid off.

The ID subwoofers are excellent, but don't expect great performance out of a single driver in the spare tire well. I'd recommend either a single 12 in a ported box or two tens in a sealed box. An ID 12" sub should do the trick as long as you run it ported; however, I'd recommend a dual 10" setup. I've found that 2 tens give must better sound quality and a more full sound than a single 12. For 10s I'd say go with either the kicker solobarics or some Diamond Audio subs, perhaps the CM3 or 5 series lines. Both the kicker and the diamond will do very well in a small-volume sealed box, which is the type of situation you'll be looking at in the spare tire well.
