how easy is it to take 3 pieces apart to pain? dont you have to silicone them back together?

Taking them apart is not really a pain, just time consuming. Putting them together is a whole 'nother story. Sealing the wheel with silicone is arguably the hardest part of re-assembly because if it's not done correctly, it'll leak air.

It's not too hard to get them apart, and when you put them back together you just use a couple tubes of red RTV silicone. I haven't had a problem with any leaks yet.

If I have good tires mounted I usually just tape the wheel up and spray them though

Taking them apart is not really a pain, just time consuming. Putting them together is a whole 'nother story. Sealing the wheel with silicone is arguably the hardest part of re-assembly because if it's not done correctly, it'll leak air.
I'm down for a shoot! We should get a whole sofla shoot going
