tirerack really came through with my winters in a bind

well, i knew i would have to order winter tires eventually, and getting a flat in a car with no spare tire (e46 m3) i went and ordered the Sport Edition F6 rims (cheapest) with Bridgestone Blizzak Revo-1 tires. the tires, in the dry, are pretty bad. in the wet, they're borderline deadley, and i have yet to see how they do in the snow.

but, it really makes me feel like my car is so much faster when i get DSC coming on during a 3-4 shift

i placed my order on a friday, when i got my flat, and i had my wheels/tires ready to be mounted (with pretty good but not perfect balancing) by that next tuesday.

Thanks alot, tirerack. i'll be back in a few weeks to order my new summer tires (mmm, 245/275)

They'll feel better below the 40-45 degree mark and after they're broken in a bit longer. They are compounded to work in much lower temps than we're having now.

Any pics of these on your car? Considering them for my 05 330Ci.

Gary - Is the only difference between the Blizzak LM-22 and LM-25 the run flat ability.

Thanks!

Thanks!

The LM25 is mostly a tread pattern update from the LM22, very little difference. Both are available in non-run flat tires depending on the size.
