Havings tvs in your headrests f&*cks up your car!

I heard from a VERY reputable stereo store that having tvs in your headrests ****s up your headrests after awhile, say like a year or two later, it starts to look ugly and come loose no matter how good the install is. Is that true? Is there any great way to install your tvs and have your headrests looking the same way 2 years later?

lol...

now i know a family van cant be the same headrest as a bmw, but my parents had tv sets in their headrests and backs of the seats, and they've had the car for like prolly 5 years, after the second winter, 1 screen was totally ruined from the cold temps and the other had a dot in it....but to get to the point both could probably (after the first 2 years) have been pulled out with ease....lol, so wiggly u could just about turn the tv upside down, the only reason u could get it to turn anymore is because the wires behind the lcd screen got in the way. haha, i should bring a pic of what they look like side ways and bootlegg.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Thats exactly what that guy was talking about. My car is garaged so i dont have to worry about cold temps. I guess he was right, maybe I shouldn't even bother.

I've had a four different screens over the past five years. My car is not garaged and I have had ZERO problems.

And as far as the headrest... if it's installed properly it shouldn't come loose.

Were all those screens installed in your headrest and if so how long have they been in your headrests for?
