16" steel wheels on 04 325i?

are steelies ok/not ok on a E46 325i? for winter use only... thx for any thoughts

I have a 04 325i w/ sport package and i was told that steel wheels will not clear the rotors.

EDIT: I stand corrected. Apparently, there are no 16" steel wheels that will fit 325's...only the 323's. Sorry about that.

You can fit 16" steel wheels on any 325 as 16's are the standard wheel size for the 325. They will not fit 330's, whether you have sport package or not. Sport package for BMW does not denote larger brakes.

I am actually running 15" steel wheels with 195/65/15 Nokian Hakka RSi snow tires this year on my 2000 323i. If the Tirerack offers it, it will fit your car. Lookup 16" winter packages and you should see the 16" steel wheels available.
