19x9.5 in the rear for M3

If I run a 9.5 BBS RS-GT in the rear, what is the widest tire I can run? I think I remember people running 275 on 9.5's. If that's the case, what is the advantage of running a 10 in the rear?

So, no 285 on a 9.5?

Did the 9.5 fill out the wheel well? I can't decide if I should go 9.5 or 10.

I run a 275 on a 10.5 rear on my 2004 M3. I love the look of 275's on a 10.5. Some people don't like the stretched look but I don't like the look of rubber pouring over the edge of the rim. The stretch really isn't that bad though. It makes the tire look thin and aggressive rather than bloated sitting on the rim. That's just my opinion though.

I have 9.5 rears and 275 rubber. It fills out the wheel well very well, but there is a tiny bit more room to go. I am not lowered though - if I lowered my suspension then it would be a very tight fit i think.
