WTF is a brake bushing? Is that the same as " blinker fluid?" If so I would recommend also changing your muffler bearings! Don't take your car back there dude. TTT 3 sets for sale.

Steering problems

Hey Bro...sorry to bother you I was just informed by my mechanic that I need ball joints ( which are part of the control arm ) old ones are shot..need replacing...I'm up here in Ontario Canada and don't know but thought I'd ask if what you have listed for sale is what I need..thanks in advance....Spike24

Sorry, these are just the control arm bushings and carriers. No arm.

TTT I have 3 sets left and that is it. I will not have any more after this, at least for quite some time. Price is $80.00 shipped to the lower 48. First $200.00 takes all 3!!!

i think i have a flat spot on my michelins... i'm getting a noticable thump that follows speed... goes away over 40+mph..

my question is what does it feel like when bushings need replacing and how long (miles) will the origional oem's hold out usually?

There is no set mileage as to how long they will last. I have seen decent examples at cars with 50-75K, and bushings that were shot at 30K. It's all about driving style/conditions.

The sure test is to let off the brakes, and just start a steady roll. Tap the brake pedal repeatedly and listen/feel for a thumping. It will be noticeable if they are bad.
