M3 steering wheel install - Page 4

Wow this thread really changed from when i started it. Just for some closure from me, got the wheel installed it, all I had to buy was the lower trim piece from the dealer, reused my button panel. Got it from ebay seller was from ohio, high feedback with alot of oem bmw parts on auction. If you just check out who your dealing with you can come out doing pretty well. Even buying the trim piece I got my wheel completed for under 300.

nope! no problem with the airbag.

Uhm I cant find my reciept right off but it was somehting like 110, then he gave me 20% off for my non existent bmw cca memership, and then i got another 20% off when i payed cause when I had called earlier the sales guy took out his bad day on me. So after all that my total came out 75 with a set of new windshield wipers.

Hi all..just a dumb question... Which direction does the big a$$ 16 size bolt need to be forced to come off..counterclockwise or clockwise...obviously im not trying hard enough..Couldnt get it to budge..
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Anyone else having the same issue? I am about to put in my SMG wheel so i can fulfill my wet dream of driving a formula 1 (Paddle shift)..only, its not even remotely close to F1.
