M Lighted Shift Knob
Hi guys,
I am planning on installing a M lighted shift knob, so I am wondering if anyone has done that. Where did you get power for the knob from? Thank you |

i had an old body 325 once and i cut wiring for the cigarette lighter and spliced it to the wiring in the shift knob.

I couldn't find anything the adaptor harness would plug into, so I just tapped the cig lighter as well ...

Hi! I installed the M shift knob with light. It was quite simple to install. You just "steal" the power to it from the ashtray light wiring with the wires supplied by bmw. You can also ask for the mounting instructions from your bmw parts dealer.
Go for it! |
