Windshield wiper fluild leaking..

Well its seems I have alot of the random problems the 2001 330's have. My window fluid is leaking and I took everything apart. It seems its leaking at the bottom where there is a rubber gromet *sp* and one of my friends said to soak it in brake fluid and put it back in to re-seal the connectiong. All the research I've read had it done from warrenty... you have got to be kidding me. Why would any engineer but a rubber gromet and tiny filter down there? Well any help is appreciated, but from some reason I feel that this is something I'll have to do without any help from here.

I had the same problem. A new washer pump is about $35. The pump is actually leaking not the grommet. The reservoir and the pump unclip and unscrew and are easy to fix yourself.
I noticed that the old washer was a slightly different size from the new washer, so be sure to buy a new rubber washer too.

Awesome thanks!.. yes I took it apart in about 2 mins. Ordering them tomorrow. Do you have the part number for them? That would be great. If not my guy at the dealerhip is really cool and will pull it up. Thanks for the insite though, I kinda thought thats what it was but didnt have enough fluid to know.
