Question diagram for trunk release cabling..?

Hey everyone - I've got my Vorsteiner bootlid installed, but during the install, I wasn't cautious enough to note how the emergency trunk release and the cable for key opening all went together...
I've got the parts sitting in the trunk with no idea how to get them back together... there is a white plastic looking cable, which i believe connects to the mechanism which allows the trunk to be opened with the key, and a cable release which is for the emergency trunk release...
How and where these guys connect is a myth to me; i'm pretty mechanically inclined, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get these parts back in working order...
Anybody have an isometric or something I could use for reference?
Anything will help!
Many thanks.
