I like the harsh light and beautiful pose. Only thing I wish was better was her expression. Thats just me though.

Mhm. Edit it. On the second one, zoom in a bit more because there is way to much of nothing going on at the bottom with the wooden path. Personally I would remove the poles on the boats and the bush on the lower left.

IMO thats to much zoom. Work on your framing when you are taking the actual photo. If it was me in that location, on your first shot I would have angled the camera pointing the sky more so I cut the lower wooden path off and got more of the tree and sky. That's more my style though. And yes, make sure your horizons are always straight.

It was actually coming up. Here it is before it came over the horizon.
