How do you push it? I can understand over exposing of sorts in post, but you can't physically change the film to make it absorb more light....can you?

If anyone is looking for some new toys, there's a guy on POTN (jwbker) who's doing a fire sale of some good stuff. He's got a 35L for $1050....

I don't know all the science behind it, but basically you set the ISO to whatever you want to push to, which actually underexposes the film in camera, then you develop it longer based on how many stops you pushed to make up the difference.

Not all films do well with pushing.

I figured that's how it was done.

On a related note, I HATE developing film.

I love it. The whole process from shooting to developing to scanning is much more satisfying to me than the digital process. It's one of the reasons I love shooting film over digital.

So happy I found this thread!

I took this photo last year at the Capital building in Lansing, MI during a protest.

Nikon D300 & Nikkor 180 2.8 lens.

Today is my last day in Taiwan...I ended up staying really late last night with my cousin, so I ran up to the roof of our building in Taipei to grab a shot of the sunrise. Wish my camera could capture the actual colors and layers of the sky, it was quite a nice sunrise.
