old Russian made Canon FD glass M/F fisheye - not sure what it was exactly, I'm thinking 10-15mm - it was on my 5Dii...

in all honesty I love how it turned out. need to work on my MF skills thou, missed alot of shots that day. and it also didnt get along with the 5Dii, had to slightly unscrew it and click it back in after every shot to get the shutter to re-open...

Be careful, it sounds like the back of the glass is hitting your mirror. The same thing will happen if you put an EF-S lens on an EF mount.

See if zooming in/out changes anything.

Here's why I'm thinking it could be hitting

it was a fixed fisheye... so I'm thinking it was more to do with the odd connectors. I had some camera to lens errors also pop up when I was shooting with it.

yeah, the images are fuzzy, most hurt my eyes - I was not intending to be blown away from them... it was borrowed from a buddy who shoots film, I am pretty sure the lens has been passed down a few times and not handled with care - its also 30+ years old.

I was just posting for the sake of posting. that's all - figured it was just kinda cool that I was using some really old glass on a new body.

off the Sigma 35.

^ Thanks man! Shot this almost by accident! We hit the mountains for some fall color shots last yr and saw a caravan of old timers driving these clean antiques...got a few quick clicks before they disappeared round the corner... I wanted to make it interesting and since I got the new NIK plugins, have been playing around crazy
