I don't have access to the originals right now, but when I get home I'll post the EXIF.

This one might be different, but usually I set it to manual and expose at 1/125 or 1/100 and anywhere between f/11-22 depending on how bright it is outside. Out of 100 panning shots maybe 10-15 come out clear enough to be useable. Very hard to master, especially in professional racing where the cars are very fast. I was thinking about getting a monopod when I upgrade to a VR telephoto.

How did you get more definition in the clouds? I wanted to show the clouds just like that!

Do you use Photoshop? If so, I have a FANTASTIC plugin form Fred Miranda I could "share" it's called Velvia Vision and does just that, I use his Velvia Vision and Intellisharpen II plugins on just about everyone of my photos!

from what i understand, he is using some sort of magnification lens and he can focus on certain parts of the box while the rest are blurred out. I also thought the text on the box was pretty funny. Price in the US, alaska, hawaii, afganistan, iraq...
price in canada... until we take them over...

in case you were wondering, there is no photoshop blurring here. the very shallow DOF is the result of the lens itself.
