Thanks yea, I didn't use any modifiers to soften the flash up. I shot those pics bare because the wind would've knocked my flash down. I've had that happen before and it was not a fun experience. I'm thinking of getting a softbox instead of using just my umbrella. But overall I was just happy that I finally learned how to balance flash and ambient under pressure. lol

Yeah the choice of diffusers makes the shots...

C&C appreciated. Being colorblind, I have a hard time convincing myself the colors are not over/under saturated.

Good point, I have to say model photography is pretty tough! I've been reading strobist.com trying to meter in my head and being able to nail down the perfect exposure. Just need to work on eliminating those harsh shadows.
