Thanks, guys. It's an f/4, non-is. My first L lens.

Breezy, that 35L looks incredibly sharp. Love the DOF on that shot.

You will love it if you shoot with sufficient light.

I just recently sold mine and picked up the 2.8L IS ||

Get it, until I got it I didnt realize how much more realistic the pictures come out compared with my gf1. I mean the GF1 is great but the dynamic range, and ISO performance of the x100 blow it out of the water. I also feel more comfortable with it around my neck. With my GF1 i felt like a tourist but with this I feel like a photojournalist lol.

The fixed 35mm focal length is perfect for me, but I can see how some other people would want a fixed lens. The view finder is extremely bright, I havent really used the electronic view finder yet though but that could come in handy.

It also has some film filters built in the camera based on the legendary fuji film types. Like Velvia and some others. I haven't messed around those yet but that could be pretty fun especially when your just taking pictures of friends.

Ok, I was wondering about that. So that is a functional viewfinder? I know on a lot of micro 4/3s there's an EVF inside and it just looks like a real viewfinder. Where's the EVF on that one? I'm so happy I got a real viewfinder bundled with my EP-1; I would hate to have to use the screen all the time. As much as I want the x100, it would be really hard to justify buying ANOTHER camera when I could get a decent E30 to start building for the same price.
