The back story on this is that in traditional Mexican hairdressing, hair pieces or flowers are often held in place by pinning the piece to the scalp which doesn't move as opposed to hair which does move.... At least that was the best I could translate what was happening with my limited Spanish abilities. The pin is being pushed into her scalp when I took this shot.

^everything around the shoes is a little distracting...maybe try shooting them on a solid white/black backdrop?

Nice shot, Joe. Almost has a tilt-shift feel to it for some reason. Nice capture! He/she's just a little guy/gal, but won't be for long if feeding on garbage. I had a black bear that used to come out of the woods behind my house and onto my back deck to steal my garbage can. He'd take it to the woodline, sit down, and shred everything leaving a huge mess. A hunter got him the next year and he was over 500 lbs! |

Thanks. I specifically went out looking for scenery shots to do the tilt-shift effect on. The shots I was able to capture weren't perfectly ideal for the effect because I couldn't get a clear shot of things just a bit closer without all kinds of foreground foliage that would ruin the effect without making some serious masking selections in Pshop.
