Sorry but this the most retarded thing ever... First how long has it been since you changed your oil that your oil light came on? Is there something wrong with your car that you're getting the oil light?

I seriously hope you were trying to be funny, or else give up the M3 you don't deserve it. Donate it to charity or something.

Hahahah maybe you should have stopped by the ATM and pulled out about $20K(if u had it of course), wad it up and stick it in the hole instead of the sock!

Please take it to a BMW Dealer so the mechanics can get a laugh out of it. I'm sure it will go down in some type of BMW tech hall of fame.

why drive a BMW if you cant even afford the oil change?? or atleast know how to work on a car when you attempt to save a buck. i bet you put in some cheap ass oil too. i blieve it says mobil 1 on the cap for a reason.

and don't BMW's have roadside assistance when you get the car??

sorry but FYI this one is getting around to other forums already

I agree. The kid f-cked up. Everybody does something stupid at one time or another. Nobody popped outta the womb a certified auto mechanic. It's a f-ckin' learning process. Problem is the majority of internet posters are probably scrawny young punk-a$$ biatches hiding scared behind a computer screen. Cut the kid some slack.

Dude, you don't need to be a certified mechanic to know that you dont jam a sock as a replacement for an oil cap... I mean come on... Learning process???

GOOD LORD before we know it, it's gonna wind up on the "Cuisinart Lovers" forum or something along those lines.

thanks for the honest replies, everyone. I openly admitted I f'd up bad in my original post. I came here to get some advice before taking it to a shop. I took it to a shop and i'm just fine. it'll be a learning lession. i do believe its up to whomever posts on message boards to say who deserves what for different reasons. I paid for this vehicle in full w/out payments fyi everyone. I am tight on cash right now and thats that. the oil was changed at the dealership no longer than 3k ago and the **** burns. next time i'll be sure to use a shirt to plug up the hole just so i can come back and ask for upper body apparel advice.
