HK Amp compatible w/Aftermarket Head Unit?
Heard it will for a lil bit..then after awhile it might blow cuz of the different impedences. I also heard that there's also an adaptor that you can get to make it work together w/o worrying about the impedences. Anyone know about this?

I just had the Kenwood KVT911DVD installed in my 330i, with the Harmon Kardon system. My installer used an adapter that converts the high-level outputs of the head unit into a signal the factory amp can use. Crutchfield also carries this part. It's about $30 if I remember right.
