I want a nice puffy Jacket/Vest

I really want a nice puffy down vest but dunno where to look. I may also just get a jacket instead but I dunno about that either.... maybe it's my Indian blood but after summer I'm cold like all the time, and I need something warmer than all the light jackets and hoodies I have....

what would you recommend? I know they are mad trendy, but how are the North Face jackets? the thicker ones, I already have one of those light useless denali jackets that everyone has... other than that, Polo, Timberlad, etc, where should I check?

thanx

Northface, the only brand I would buy for those kind of jackets.

Only brand of Fleece I have ever owned and ever will own...can't beat a lifetime guarantee!

I have a Columbia Titanium. Great Jacket, it's a little old but I haven't worn it that much. I went to buy it and the price had been torn off, they ended up ringing it up a 100 bucks cheaper than it was supposed to be. I love it though, its got the inside part too that you can unzip and wear seperate.
