if you think moto GP is crazy check out AMA superbikes theyve got huge motors on bikes that weigh about the same as moto GP bikes. I saw a race awhile back where these guys were going at it for about 15 laps neck and neck, they were pretty much sliding around everyturn.

MotoGP is the highest class of motorcycle racing. Think of it as F1 racing for motorcycles.

Although the engine displacement is smaller than superbikes, the Moto GP bikes produce 30-50HP over superbikes. The bikes are also lighter. They are the fastest bikes on the planet. They are in fact the F1 of motorcycles. Carbon fiber, and firing order changed, custom shocks and brake components that will never trickle down to production or consumer. They are incredibly loud and incredibly fast. I saw them at Laguna this year. I've seen the AMA races every year, and Moto GP is in a different league.

The video games made for MotoGP are bada** too. They have the MotoGP 2006 coming out in the next few months for the XBOX 360. Valentino Rossi has dominated the series for the last few years and it looks like he could potentially be making a trip to F1 in the next few years so hopefully MotoGP will have a new champion.

One of the reasons I want to get a 360 is that game, and Im not sure how well Valentino will make the transition, but it will sure be fun to watch.
