Autocross wheels for D Stock - Kosei

Hi,

I have a 2001 330i and would like to get a set of Kosei K-1 lightweight wheels for autocross (I have to retain the stock sizes 17 x 7.5 front and 17 x 8.5 rear). Do you know if they come in these sizes for my car and/or where I could get a set?

not sure about the wheel widths, but TireRack carries those wheels.

Kosei K1's only come in 17" x 8.5"

Believe it or not, they did come in 17X9 a while back. Good for mounting extra while slicks!

Thanks. If they only come in 17 x 8.5 then what would you suggest for the fronts? I had also heard you could get the K-1s in "blanks" and they could be made to fit?

"Blanks" is in regards to the bolt pattern.

If you are running in SCCA Stock (DS?), you need to run the same width wheel as stock and the offset cannot vary more than 1/4" (6mm) from stock. Your stock wheel sizes are 17x7.5 et41 and 17x8.5 et50. I'm fairly sure that there is a 17x7.5 et35 blank which will be legal up front (41mm - 6mm = 35mm) but I don't know what 17x8.5 blanks are available. E-mail Gary at the Tire Rack directly to find out.
