My Ride: 2001 330CiC
Need input for a new 330CiC owner. PLEASE HELP!!!

First of all thanks for taking the time to read this post:

I am a new owner of a 2001 330Ci Convertible and need some help picking some things out. I know this is a topic that most have been talked about many times on this site but I am completely clueless when it comes to doing any kind of mods to a car. I admit it completely... I have NO CLUE. However, I am willing to hear all of your input to help me. Okay, with that said here is the deal....

First of all here is my car:

I love it but it needs some help. First of all I need to go clear on the lighting. The orange is killin' me. This is the first mod I want to do and I want to do it right. I don't want it to look cheap in any way. With that said I would like to find the best price for the good stuff that won't look cheap in any way. I would also like to buy the light bulbs that are not amber themselves but flash amber. Does this make sense? Are Stealth bulbs what I am looking for? Here is a link of what I found in my search:

If there is something better or a better buy please let me know.

=====================================

I would also like to do the reflectors and the break bar that is built into the trunk in clear and lights up red:

As you can see mine is red right now and the as you all know that current models are clear. Is this hard to install myself? I am fairly intelligent but have not ever taken apart any part of my car in the past.

So this does not get too long I am basically looking for input on what to buy and where to buy it to get the best bang for the buck without sacrificing quality.

===================================

Second on the list of things to do is the wheels. Here is what I am thinking about getting when spring rolls around:

I think these wheels are pretty sweet and they are BMW wheels so I am guessing that they are a good fit for my car. I will upgrade from 17" wheels that I have know to 18" wheels. Is there anything that I need to consider or be careful of with this upgrade? What tires would you recommend I get when I upgrade the wheels to these 18" wheels?

==================================

Finally, if you have any suggestions on minor things that can be done to increase horsepower I would be interested to hear your input on this as well. I don't want to do anything crazy and most all do not want to do anything that will compromise the cars engine or anything else on the car. I want this car to look good and be quick but I do not want to do anything that I am going to kick myself for. I'm 34 years old and have wanted a BMW since I was 15 and finally was in the position financially to get one and I just don't want to screw it up. I'm sure you understand.

Thank you all for taking the time to read my cry for help. Again you can not insult me in any way by assuming that I don't know something so treat me as if I know nothing because you are probably right!

Thanks again!
