Is it possible to exchange my normal cassette unit with this?

Yep. Plug & Play.

ooops, saw that you'r in Germany ? MAY BE an issue with the frequency, and MAY BE not an issue by sslecting the correct Country setting..... but as far as hardware is concern, given both cars are 2000. they are plug & play.

Frequency is not an issue - this is set in Test Mode (easily done by the end user). All the radios are the same that way.
