Anytime man. We're all here to help each other.

Give it enough time and you'll start to actually like healthy foods! Don't get me wrong... I still love all sorts of junk food from Swedish Fish to fried chicken, but I've come to love lean meat and healthy complex carbs.

WORD X 10000000!!!!!!

The following for me are treats now haha:

-cottage cheese mixed with natty PB
-cup oats cooked in water with cooked egg whites mixed in (add splenda and cinnamon if you cant take it)
-liquid egg whites, strawberry whey, cottage cheese in a blender, ice, water = awesome!

and the following are just now starting to taste good after a hard time for awhile:

-boiled chicken with nothing
-plain tuna out of the can
-broccoli boiled in water
-spinach boiled in water

-any combo of the above together

Haha now for my cheat this weekend I will enjoy normal food so much ill probably die a happy man

Yup. I hate salt and very sweet things now. And alot of times a plain piece of pumpernickel bread is just heaven to me.

Absolutely man. I'm eating healthier than ever and, without a doubt, feeling healthier than ever.

You should PM me your cell phone number, btw. You're one of the people I'm going to want to talk to the day of the competition

I love my healthy food, but it'll be a LONG time before I can say I hate junk food!

I completely agree with you guys, for "desert", I love nothing more than 2 rice cakes with a bit of Jam spread over.

I also LOVE plain oatmeal and bran cereals like Flax Bran Plus or Grape Nuts

Yep, green tea should be on the list for sure. Cheap, loaded with a ton of antioxidants and aids in fat loss.

Absolutely. I'm not a cereal eater anymore, but Kashi is the best cereal available.

here is my usual grocery list

-meats-
chicken breast, boneless/skinless
fresh fish, only from a seafood market, none of that frozen fillet bullshit

-veggies-
anything and everything you can think of

-fruit-
mostly citrus fruit like grapefruit and oranges
apples

-drinks-
water
oj
'

then theres the obvious like bread (only wheat), milk, eggs...etc.

Try putting some pepper in it. I love large curd but it cannot be store brand. The beef I have with cottage cheese is a tub only lasts me 2 days tops.

need opinions about my breakfast, what do you guys think of this:

i wake up, brush my teeth and go straight to the kitchen and I eat:
-drinkable yogurt
-apple or banana or some fruit
-protein shake

my concern is if I keep drinking protein shake every morning, is that ok for my liver? or maybe it's not recommended to drink it right when I wake up ?

sorry to get off point here, but why do people brush their teeth BEFORE they eat? The whole point of brushing your teeth is to remove the stuff that gets put on there when you eat. Besides, food tastes horrible to me until the toothpaste taste has gone way.

as for your breakfast, it sounds good to me. you can drink it right when you wake up. the only time you should worry about your liver is if you are taking in too much protein for your bodyweight.
