Power inverter wiring....
how/wehre should i wire my power inverter for my game console system, which is in the trunk. How do i get power into the inverter to the game console. How does the power inverter work. Anyone got a gaming console in their car and have pics to show how they wired the power source?

You can run a wire from the fuse block up in the glove compartment. You will want to run a heavier guage wire however. You can also go right to the ignition wire under the steering column. Just make sure you fuse it seperately and run a 10 - 12 guage wire.

I dont suggest using the ignition. Using a relay on the remote turn on lead would be better.

how would one go about tapping into the ignition wire for some neon lights i have. so cut the sleeve off the ignition wire, solder on a 10-12 gauge wire. wire an inline fuse, then use a distributer? any ideas?
