Water leaking from around antena

Anyone else have water leaking from around roof antena? My back seat is getting wet from all the rain leaking through. Anyone know how to replace it?

Ive had this same problem after a heavy rain, when I pull out of my parking spot the water rushes back the roof of the car and comes in around what I can only think is around the antenna. Its usally only about a shot glass of water that comes in. Only happens when I pull away, with water sitting on the roof. I have'nt come up with a solution yet so if anyone has please let us know.

maybe you can take off the antenna and reseal it, maybe it needs a new seal?

If you have the 'beestinger' antenna, OP, which I'm sure you do...search 'leaking beestinger' and you'll find that there's a Danco o-ring that fits perfectly...for $1...that is, unless you want to buy new antenna for whatever it costs.

#18 Danco o-ring is the one.

I had the same problem (beestinger type) A little black RTV around the base solved it.

Hello, I had the same problem, I fixed it with an O-ring from Home depot;
unscrew the antena and put the o-ring under it and it works like magic with very low cost, and keep the good look for the car and antenna
