Mayonnaise.....

Is it really that bad......

What if the place you eat only offers "premayoed" tuna or chicken salad for you sandwich

What if you only had one sandwich for lunch on wholewheat bread, would it still be that bad

What if you had this sandwich everyday for lunch

......

I stay away from Mayo for the simple fast that i dont like it. It is all fat though and isn't good, especially if you have it everyday. it's something i would stay away from.

If you're low carbing, mayonaise is a good way to get in your calories and flavor your food. Otherwise it is a very high calorie food and should not be eaten if you want to lose weight

that may be true, but the whiteness and feel of mayo in my mouth doesn't seem right. So i'd rather have my sandwhich plain

gentlemen this thread is not about whether or not you like mayo as we all know most of the world is divided into either Mayo lovers or Mayo haters. That is a topic for another thread which I will address in due time.

What this thread is about is assessing how "bad" mayo is for someone to have in their everyday diet in the form of one sandwich spread full.

Thank you

I think I would be more worried about the fat content than the calories. Calories are calories.

This shouldn't even be a question, no mayo if you are concerned with losing weight.

Yeah mayo is bad for you, but adding just a touch of it to canned tuna does wonders.

Watch out for those "premixed" tuna/chicken sandwiches though as they are loaded with mayo
