What he has right now is the prototype RDSport suspension for the e63. This is a spring and strut suspension that was actually track tested when it was produced. The height of the springs were made to be a comfortable ride height for someone that wanted to drive this car daily. We actually compared the height to the H&R springs, and the RDSport ones are a little bit lower.

RDSport will be releasing new springs in the future with lower ride height but same spring rate to work with the struts to make sure that the handling set up of the vehicle will remain the same.

With all the suspensions that I've driven on, I would have to say this setup is quite impressive vs. H&R, KW, Bilstein etc.

wow, that's a bold statement. if it is as you say, then their suspension setup will sell rather well.

So what is the exact ride height that the car is lowered?

i'd like to know too. both the h&r sport and eibach prokit only lowers the sports package 6er by 0.3 inches or so. i'm looking for a spring that would lower about 1" all around (compared to stock sports package suspension). the only other solution i've seen is h&r coils

You can also get KW V3 coil-overs for the 645Ci as another option.

Even I have 2 options (H&R, KW V3) to make my car lower, but I still kept my RDSport's suspension then you can tell how good the handling is.

When I first bought the 645Ci, I didn't really like how the car handles. I felt I were driving a 7er with a little bit of sporty feel, but after I installed the RD's suspension, the handling is night and day. The cornering is direct and precise. The suspension works perfect with BMW's Active Roll Stabilization technology. There is almost no body roll even during the corner and the car feels very stable when its at high speed cruise.

Some updated pix of the interior

some update pix for the interior ....
I have always hated 6er's interior. I think its too much plastic feeling.
So I had planed to do this when I decided to buy this car.
