Thumbs down Why is the new 750 so UGLY ///Rant

The first time I saw the new 750 was on the other side of a parking lot and I was like ďthatís a weird looking Lexus.Ē but when I got closer I realized it was a Bimmer . I saw it at the stealer and its ugly and I saw one again today and itís even uglier. Usually most cars grow on me but every time I see this car in person it just gets uglier every time. They took one of the most beautiful truly German looking cars and turned it into a fuking monstrosity.

/end rant

I don't like 7-series overall, but I think 750i/Li looks much better than 745i/Li

the 750i is my favorite out of all the Bangle era bmw's. It is so much more of a BMW than the awkwardly curvy e90, and e60.

The 7 has distinct BMW lines and was the first car to lead a new era of car designs. The new E90 is the worst of them all, but you are now used to this new BMW design strategy. The E65 7 is a status symbol and a statement "you have arrived in life". It has more presence than any other car in its class. You my friend, don't understand Avant Garde design of luxury sedans.

On a side note... I work for a BMW dealer and many people dislike the E60 and E90 and the X3 for that matter. They praise the E65, E63 and the Z4 for its aggressive lines. IMO the E60 needs a better side profile on the doors and the E90 is just a Kia mess. As for the rest of the BMW's, they are great. Disclaimer: I may be bias considering what is in our stable, but sales #'s speak louder than anything.

He didn't?? Are you guys sure, he is BMWs head designer, so I'm pretty sure hes in charge of all those new models. Plus the all share the unifying characteristic of ugliness

I agree my friends mom drives a 750 when i first saw it i was like wait a second what happened. The headlights seem to be stretched up i guess you could say which doesnt look horrible or anything but i liked the 745 better. I'm just used to the older rear i'm sure it will grow on me but theres something about the rear and the taillights i like about the 745 more than 750. thats just my few cents

Other artists penned the vehicles (...i.e....Adrian Van Hooydink penned the 7-series, etc.). Bangle was just the head of the department prior to being promoted.

At least it's not as bad as the new 3.
